Our 1920s home, The Knowes, offers discretion, comfort and stylish accommodation. Traditional furnishings mix well with modern art and sculpture. Give yourself a break and see Glasgow properly!

Young or old, you will feel welcomed here. If you need an early start, we will be helpful. If you come in late, that presents no problem. Of course, if you are staying in our self-catering studio apartment then you may come and go as you wish as you will have your own entrance. This is also a convenient point from which to easily tour the surrounding area.

The Knowes is a 1920?s bungalow set in an attractive garden in a residential street. Traditional furniture and well chosen art works make The Knowes a place to remember. Shops, restaurants, takeaways, post office, banks, parks and municipal golf courses are all close by.

Access to Glasgow City centre is a short car drive or there are frequent buses from the end of our street (3 minutes walk) into the centre and beyond. Some guests have been known to walk the 3 miles into the city enjoying the sights along the way.

The Knowes is also well placed for day trips north to Stirling, The Trossachs and Perth, east to Edinburgh and west to Loch Lomond and the scenic west coast.
